MediaMango is engineered from the ground up as a local-first desktop utility. Your media files, personal folders, and digital archives are private. We believe software should do its job on your computer without phoning home with your personal data.

1. Local File Processing & Zero Cloud Uploads

All core features—including photo deduplication, storage analysis, audio authenticity analysis, video transcoding, system cleaner scanning, and folder organization—operate strictly on your local device.

  • No Cloud Storage or Sync MediaMango never uploads, streams, or syncs your media files, filenames, or directory structures to any server.
  • In-Memory Storage Analyser Storage scan trees and folder metrics are kept in volatile memory only; all scan data is discarded immediately when closed.
  • No Account Required You do not need an account, password, username, or cloud profile to download and use the application.

2. What Information We Do NOT Collect

Unlike conventional web apps and cloud suites, MediaMango is built with zero-telemetry principles:

    No Media or File Contents · We have no access to your photos, videos, music, documents, or their embedded EXIF/ID3 metadata.
  • 02
    No In-App Analytics or Trackers · MediaMango contains no Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Sentry, or third-party behavioral telemetry SDKs.
  • 03
    No Tracking Cookies or Ad IDs · Neither the desktop app nor the marketing website uses third-party advertising identifiers or tracking pixels.

3. When MediaMango Connects to the Internet

On this website, pricing uses the country supplied by our hosting provider to select a currency. We do not request GPS access or return your IP address to the page. If country information is unavailable, browser timezone and language provide a fallback. A currency you select manually is saved in your browser.

The desktop application initiates outgoing network connections exclusively for three bounded technical purposes:

    Version & Update Checks · MediaMango queries official GitHub Releases (or the Microsoft Store / macOS App Store for store-managed installations) to notify you when an update is available.
  • 02
    Optional On-Device Model Download · When you use visual similarity or photo clutter classification, the required neural model weights are downloaded once directly to your local disk. Once downloaded, all image inference executes 100% offline on your device CPU/GPU.
  • 03
    License Verification & Checkout · When you open checkout, redeem a code, or verify an active pass, the app contacts the MediaMango licensing service (license.mediamango.adidusi.com) using cryptographically signed tokens (Ed25519) to confirm your device's pass status.

4. Payment & Billing Data

Purchases are processed securely by Razorpay (razorpay.com), an RBI-authorized and PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway.

We never receive, handle, or store sensitive payment credentials such as credit card numbers, debit card details, CVVs, expiration dates, bank accounts, or UPI PINs.

Our licensing service retains only the minimal order information required to issue and maintain your software license:

  • License Order Record Order reference ID, payment status, chosen pass (1-Year or Lifetime), and timestamp
  • Customer Contact Reference Buyer email address (if entered during checkout) to deliver your license receipt and support inquiries
  • Payment Verification Tag Payment method category (e.g. Card, UPI, NetBanking) and the last four digits of a phone number if supplied

5. Data Retention & User Rights

We retain minimal license order records for the lifetime of your active pass and to fulfill statutory accounting and tax obligations.

Under applicable privacy regulations (including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and relevant data protection laws), you possess the following rights regarding any data held in connection with your purchase:

    Right to Access & Portability · You may request a copy of the minimal transaction data associated with your license.

    Right to Erasure · You may request the deletion of your purchase and email records by contacting us at support@mediamango.adidusi.com. Please note that deleting licensing records deactivates the associated license pass.

    Right to Rectification · You may request corrections to the email address attached to your order record.

6. Security & Children's Privacy

All communication between MediaMango and external servers (licensing, model downloads, release checks) is conducted over encrypted TLS (HTTPS) connections. Desktop binaries are digitally signed and notarized for macOS and Windows to prevent tampering.

MediaMango is not directed to children under 13 years of age (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@mediamango.adidusi.com.

7. Terms of Service

By installing, downloading, or using MediaMango, you agree to these Terms of Service between you and the developer (adidusi.com).

Passes & Refunds

    48-Hour Full Trial · New installations include an unrestricted 48-hour trial on first launch so you can evaluate MediaMango on your own files before buying.
  • 02
    Available Passes · You can choose a 1-Year Pass (valid for 365 days of updates and support) or an Unlimited Lifetime Pass (one-time purchase with no expiration). Current pricing and purchasing parity rates are published on our Pricing page. Each pass binds cryptographically to the device on which checkout was initiated.
  • 03
    Refunds & Cancellations · If an order is refunded via Razorpay or your card issuer, the corresponding license token is deactivated automatically.

File Operations, Backups & Liability

MediaMango displays queued operations, destination folder trees, and original file handling before any action is executed. While reversible operations (moves, copies, and renames) are logged in the local History & Undo panel, permanent deletions and system cache purges cannot be undone. Always review queued actions carefully and maintain independent backups of critical data. MediaMango is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
